Yes, it only took a short Five and a half years...and a transfer to another school...in another country, For Jake to succeed! Allan and Jake moved to Winnipeg about a year ago after they heard the news that Charlie had met his demise in Paris and they lost the house on the beach along with most of everything else. Allan Found out Manitoba Health covered chiropractic care and it was off to Winnipeg! The Barber boys are in for an interesting night! Of course Evelyn, Jake’s Grandma, and Allan's overbearing Mother is in attendance. Jake’s Mom, Judith is lost in transit and keeps calling every chance she gets to blame Allan. Bertha, Charlie’s old housekeeper showed up to, as she puts it....“congratulate the little Fart machine.” To complicate matters even more, Jake swears he spotted Charlie's old neighbourhood stalker Rosie. Yet the biggest surprise of the night by Far is the return of the Uncle everyone believed was dead... Take an evening to step away from the daily stresses and be entertained by the Celebrations Cast.Located in Canad Inns Destination Centre Fort Garry, 1824 Pembina Highway, it's called "Interactive Dinner Theatre." Our actors and additional cast stay in character the entire time as they serve you each course throughout the evening. Add to the fun by playing along and you might even become part of the show. From the moment you enter the theatre you're in a another world where day-to-day cares are forgotten...an old west saloon, a 1950s high school reunion, a fantasy island a futuristic starship. Wherever it is be prepared for the time of your life. Our uniqueness carries through to the leisurely manner in which the meal service occurs. When you enter the doors, you will be presented with soup and salad followed by the first act of the production. A break follows in which your choice of four entrées is served after which the second act is presented. Finally there is another break in which your choice of two desserts are served while we celebrate with those in the audience having a birthday or anniversary. This break is followed by the third and final act of the production. The concept originated in Winnipeg in the 80s under the name of Celebrations Dinner Theatre.
